Face Symmetry Test
Left doubled, right doubled and the original, all side by side, so you can see how far apart your two mirrored faces really are. Plus a symmetry score.
Front-facing, unobstructed, evenly lit photos work best. Your photo is analysed on your phone or computer and is never uploaded.

Left × 2
The left side of the image, mirrored into a whole face. Whether this reads softer or sharper than the original depends on which half carries the narrower bone structure.
Original
What you see in photographs. This is also what other people see, rather than the left-right flipped version in your mirror.
Right × 2
The other half, mirrored. Wherever this differs most from the left version is where your asymmetry is most visible.
Two very different mirrored faces do not automatically mean a low score. The score measures landmark position error, and the eyes and mouth corners carry the most weight.

Questions people ask
How is the symmetry score calculated?
Twelve paired landmarks (eye corners, brow peaks, nostrils, mouth corners, cheekbones, jaw and temples) are mirrored across your midline and the position error is measured, normalised by face width and height. Around 0.5% error scores about 93; 2% scores about 72.
My mirrored halves look like two different people. Is that normal?
Completely. Everyone is like this. Most of the difference comes from habitual expressions, chewing on one side, sleeping position and how far you turned toward the camera, not from bone structure.
How do I get a higher symmetry score?
Put the light source directly in front of you, keep the lens level with your eyes and tuck your chin slightly. Day to day, watch for a single raised eyebrow and a lopsided smile, which affect the score more than anything else.
